The Research and Statistics Department undertakes high quality research and does long-term analytical work to support the Bank's policy functions, which include formulation and implementation of monetary and financial stability policies of Sierra Leone and supporting the general economic functions of the Government. The Department is the hub of all publications of the Bank, and it provides intellectual leadership for the Bank's analytical work and manages the Bank's economic and financial statistics.
